Wednessday and nothing exciting to write about ! That is the sorry story of my schedule, but i guess i must still keep in touch.
Went for the first edition of The Nigerian Carnival UK , at Burgess Park, South East London , during the weekend, was not fantastically funfilled, but was with a friend so it wasn't that boring, it was sponsored by Maltina too, i did not know they had such a prescence in the UK though, it was nice at least we got free Maltina Drinks at one point.(lol)
I would try posting pictures of the event.

1) Had an MC that was not doing justice to Naija Comic talent sha , but i smiled once so it was all good.
2) Some cute little kids that i hope have set foot in Naija , with cute Afro Brithish accents gave us a presentation on the "History of Nigeria".
3)Then there was a "Fash Par"...(if y'all remember thats what fashion parade was called in the 80's /90's) of Nigerian Designs
4)Some girl did some booty shakin' cheorography steps that got quite a bit of attention....from the young and the old.
5) There was a piece by some Atilogu Dancers , quite interesting , what got me watching, was that there was a caucasian chick with them ,(when a caucasian can dance, it gets my attention, talk much less of traditional dancing)
6) There were other dance and song acts by unknowns too...hmm, there was a Komoblastic..sounds familiar ?
7)Then several naughty teenagers kept being chased by the cops , at intervals .....(don't even know the full gist but brithish policemen can run sha)
...can i add that on sale were Naijan dishes ...suya, jollof rice,dodo and the works...lol



Big deal right? Well, when you are so far away from home anything you come in contact with concerning home, is sooooo much a big deal .....leads me to reminisce about a favorite Janet Jackson's song of myne (not her's originally though)

....Dont it always seem to go....That you dont know what you got till its...Gone.....
